Letters - 6 /15 Dear Past Me

Letters - 6 / 15 Dear Past Me

Dear Past Me,

Find mentors, figure out what makes you happy and don’t let people shame you for it. Learn discipline as soon as you can, because you took a long time getting there and the guilt once you got it...sucked. Go easy on yourself when you find things that other people care about, that you don’t. Don’t force it. You won’t have to. And in the end, it probably won’t matter that much anyway.

Be kind, but firm. Be honest, but polite. Know that even in the moments where you feel like you aren’t making forward progress...you are. Even just by existing, you’re doing better. Keep pushing.

Trust that there are plans, and there are moments, and there are opportunities.

You’ll find your way.

Maybe stop wearing black jeans covered in paint splotches.

No big.

Future me.
